Nathan Hero - Every Day A Hero - with Spiderman

Meet Nathan!

This handsome boy was diagnosed at birth with Severe Combine Immune Deficiency, essentially the absence of an immune system. At two months he had ablative chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. He experienced serious side effects, and affecting his heart, liver and kidneys. He spent over 11 months in the hospital, but you’d never know by looking at him.

“He is full of energy, and is very outgoing. He has shown so much bravery and amazed us with his excitement and joy for life. Our journey has shown us what it means to have hope and joy in difficult situations. Our family started the Every Day A Hero event to help others be encouraged, get connected, and get much needed resources for their difficult journeys. We can’t wait to see every one this year!”

Meet Braelynn!

Please leave a comment or give a LIKE for the adorable Braelynn who is in remission from Wilms Tumor. Her mom says that Every Day a Hero is important to their family because they get to relate and have fun with others that get the “cancer life”. It is also a great way to educate Braelynn about cancer/blood disorders and that she wasn’t alone. It’s also important that kids with cancer and their family get to have fun without worrying about the stares or getting sick from germs. It also gives us great resources and programs that can help out our family and others.

To help provide a day of blessings and fun for families like Braelynn’s please consider making a donation to Every Day a Hero.
